Currently we use external invigilators who are retired teachers and pay them ?10 per hour. I am now looking to recruit extra staff and wonder what the current rate of pay is, and with what conditions e.g. at my previous College the minimum paid was two hours. Also what about CRB checks for the invigilators - nothing in Board regulations, do you have then carried out for your invigilators - existing/new? I would appreciate any information available.
