Caro Eugenio Bolongaro,

  leggo con interesse la Sua proposta tondelliana. Ho da poco iniziato un PhD
in letteratura italiana all'Universita' di Leeds: il progetto ha per
titolo "The industrial city and the crisis of the self in early XX century
Italian literature". Di Tondelli mi sono occupato l'anno scorso, presentando un
breve lavoro sul rapporto tra Tondelli e la musica al mio esame di licenza
presso la Scuola Normale. Molto, a mio parere, della concezione musicale di
Tondelli ha a che fare con il tema della perdita dell'identita' individuale e
della conseguente sofferenza spesso non gestibile o individuabile, e le piu'
interessanti osservazioni al proposito cadono spesso in contesti che hanno per
oggetto proprio la "generazione postmoderna". Di tutto cio' il lavoro da me
svolto lascia trapelare appena qualche cenno ma sarei lieto, quando la cosa
risultasse di qualche interesse, di lavorare in questo senso e presentare i
risultati al Suo seminario. Mi tenga aggiornato e stia bene,
