Dear All,

UMIST are being sponspored by the systems specialists SIBILO to carry out
research to determine the problems faced by information officers regarding
Subject Access Requests as well as a forecast of those likely to be
introduced by the Freedom of Information Act to be implemented by January
2005.
Sibilo have already helped many organizations save time and money with
their innovative DataSmart software which enables full compliance with the
requirements of the Data Protection Act in just 45 minutes.

The aim of this questionnaire is to develop an increased awareness of the
area of information disclosure, translating into a set of requirements for
the development of tools aiding the process.

Any help will be appreciated. All respondents will receive a free copy of
