Dear All,

There's a new site and timing for the international conference series on Strategies in Qualitative Research using NUD*IST and NVivo. The fifth in this series will be at the University of Durham, UK, September 1-3, 2004. The website is now up with call for papers at http://www.dur.ac.uk/strategies.conference/. The Institute of Education at the University of London initiated this series and ran the first four - their website at http://www.ioe.ac.uk/conferences/nvivo/ has details of those previous conferences.

And the RC 33 Sixth International Conference on Social Science Methodology, Amsterdam, is in the week before the Durham conference, August 16-20, 2004. I am convening a session on "The achievements and challenges of qualitative computing". The conference has announced a new deadline of Jan 15, 2004 for submissions - email to [log in to unmask] or to the conference. For information on the conference, see http://www.siswo.uva.nl/rc33.

cheers,
Lyn
