Music Matters: An introduction to dealing with music materials
At the end of the day delegates will
* be able describe in simple terms the handling and use of various
types of music materials;
* understand the needs of music users
* bw able to explain the use of music catalogues and discographies to
check availability;
* know how to use basic music reference sources.
* be familiar with some of the more important sources for music ILL
information
* understand the nature of ILL for performance sets and recordings
* know where to go to find more information
Who should attend?
The course is especially appropriate for staff who are dealing with
music materials as one part of a broader range of responsibilities, and
who may not have specific music knowledge.
