Dear All

With apologies for cross posting.

TechDis have introduced a new workshop to their series.

On Thursday 20 November a workshop on Accessible Assessment will held at the TechDis offices in York. This workshop is free of charge to all staff involved in further and higher education, and it is scheduled to run from 10.00am until 3.45pm, with lunch and refreshment provided.

This workshop, facilitated by Kathy Wiles of the LTSN Generic Centre and Simon Ball of TechDis, will introduce some of the common issues faced by staff in attempting to create accessible assessments. Sessions will include case studies by guest speakers from both FE and HE, as well as practical hands-on exercises using some proprietary computer-based assessment software. The workshop is aimed, not at practitioners, but at those staff developers TRAINING practitioners in accessible assessment.

As interest for this workshop has been high, it is advisable to book early.
