This morning seminar will give delegates a prime opportunity to hear the
government's plans and ideas for taking forward its commitment to older
learners, and explore some of the key current issues and challenges for
widening and expanding older people's participation in learning. Speakers
include Brian Helsdon, Adult Learning - Policy and Promotion, DfES, Jim
Soulsby, Older and Bolder, NIACE, Rodney Bickerstaffe, National Pensioners
Convention and Mark Corney, Policy Associate, Campaign for Learning.
