PO  1-4 Salary: £24,048 - £25,911

We are looking for an innovative, entrepreneurial manager to initiate and develop a records management programme for the North Yorkshire County Council.  

Working to the Archives Development Manager, you will:
· develop and implement a corporate records management strategy and records management business plan
· support the development of a corporate information strategy
· provide leadership and advice to ensure compliance with relevant standards and legislation
· promote a  collaborative, cross-Directorate approach to record keeping through advocacy, liaison with ICT developers, and the provision of rechargeable services to internal or external clients as appropriate. 

You must hold a graduate or post graduate-level qualification in archives administration, records management or information management.  You will need a minimum of four years' experience of working in records management and/or archives, including:

· Staff management and development 
· Developing use of ICT systems
· Working to standards and targets
· Making presentations to client/ user groups
· Business planning and introducing new initiatives
