medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

The chapel Saint-Michel of Brasparts in the Meneziou Arrée ("Arrée
mountains"), mid road between Saint-Pol-de-Léon and Quimper (Brittany), can been seen
from kilometers around as it stands on the top of a menez ("mountain").

There is also in Vendée the small town called Saint-Michel-Mont-Mercure,
which name associates the cult of the Archangel and the previous cult of Mercure.

André-Yves Bourgès
