To apply for any of these positions, please email your CV to [log in to unmask] Senior User Experience Manager - Products Group Germany My client, a leading telecommunications / mobile player, is looking to recruit a Senior Manager to run their Products Group. You will be accountable for application and service UI and interaction design; creating service specific UI design, liaising with other user experience teams to ensure alignment between product groups, challenging functional design of applications in order to improve usability. You are also expected to project and resource manage the following: a team of 3 to 5 UE Managers; external agencies and resources; responsible for functional sign off of UE deliverables and development of services and applications on a global and local basis; develop the skills and experience of your team members. There will also be a certain amount of user requirements gathering in order to identify user needs, focusing on the key elements of the mobile experience; monitoring the user interface performance of existing services to improve UI and usability. The successful person will have 6 yrs exp in a commercial product/service development environment, with a proven track record of successful delivery. This should include at least 2 yrs in mobile-related work, with a strong background in HCI and interaction design. You will also have experience in managing teams and be able to demonstrate effective leadership, people management and project management skills in a multi- discipline, high technology environment. Senior User Experience Manager - Devices Group Germany Working in the User Experience team, the role holder will drive all elements of UE design for a device or groups of devices. You will be responsible for application and service UI and interaction design, driving the end-to-end delivery of user experience for device(s), liaising with the art director/senior visual designer team to ensure an engaging and brand-led user experience, creating a terminal specific user interface design, describing the user interaction, wireframes and visual design according to overall product functional specification and terminal UI guidelines. You will also be largely involved with team and project management, whereby you will be responsible for 4/5 other UE Managers, negotiate and agree work contents with agencies and other external resources, be responsible for functional sign off of agency deliverables; be responsible for the functional sign off of terminal UE deliverables and developments, develop the skills and experience of the terminal hub members to meet current and future project reqs. You will also develop and maintain a clear user experience plan for each allocated project and define where the user experience team can contribute to specifications. You will have team and budgetary control, working with both internal and external clients, have at least 6 yrs experience in a commercial product and/or service development environment, including 2 yrs experience in mobile telecoms (in particular device manufacturers) and related businesses. This experience should come from a consumer-oriented product and with international experience with significant exposure to human factors and usability elements of product development. You will be a very strong communicator in written, verbal and a presentation formats with proven leadership, people management and project management experience. You will have a high technology grounding and a sufficiently high understanding to allow un-daunted and informed assessment of likely technology and device impact on user experience design User Experience Manager - Portals Group We also have a vacancy for a UE Manager for Portals.
