The next meeting of the Records Management Society- London Records Management Circle will take place on Monday 29th September 2003 at Tfpl at 6:15pm. The speaker will be John Davies. The working title of John's talk is 'the Futility of Business Process Analysis'. We are promised a thought provoking and challenging evening. Bob McLean will be on hand to defend the position of ISO 15489 against any attack! John is European Regional Head of Archives and Records Management at the investment bank, Credit Suisse First Boston. Previously, John worked for 14 years in various roles for Wellcome PLC, GlaxoWellcome PLC and GlaxoSmithKline PLC. He initially managed archive and records management functions in various parts of those organisations before taking on more senior roles in information management and information policy. A graduate in English, John trained as an archivist at Liverpool University in the mid-1970s. He has just completed the Ashridge MSc in Organisational Consulting.
