Dear Members,

Please allow me to introduce myself. I am an Associate Producer working for an independent television production company called Creative Touch Films based in London and hope that you might be able to help me.

We specialise in factual programmes and documentaries for a variety of different broadcasters both in the UK and worldwide. Please see our company website at:
http://www.ctfilms.com for full details of our production credits. I am currently working on the development of a series for National Geographic International on cartography hence this plea to you all via Mike Shand.

The series we are proposing is one about cartographic mysteries and the personalities behind them and I am looking for stories from every continent. Mike's work into locating Scottish cartographer Keith Johnston's grave (http://www.geog.gla.ac.uk/~mshand/kjohnston/kjhome.htm) will be
one of the films in the series but I am on the look out for other areas of research which we would make interesting television.

To that end, I would be very interested in hearing your thoughts and suggestions on any cartographic or mapping research that might work for a series such as this. Please do not hesitate to contact me as per the details below if you have any questions or queries and please do feel free to pass this message onto any interested parties.

Best wishes
