The early advance conference registration deadline for UbiComp 2003 is
this Friday, September 12. We encourage all prospective conference
attendees (who have not already done so) to register this week to take
advantage of the discounted rates at

UbiComp 2003 is the Fifth International Conference on Ubiquitous
Computing and will be held at the Westin Hotel in Seattle, on October
12-15.
We encourage everyone to check out the updated Conference Program,
which now includes information on Demonstrations, Posters, Doctoral
Colloquium and Videos! We especially want to draw your attention to
the Demonstrations program, which will offer a unique opportunity to
*experience* ubiquitous computing at the conference.
- Meet a living sculpture
- Take to the streets of Seattle for a WiFi game
- Use instrumented cardboard boxes to configure an
information network
- Kick the tires on location-tracking systems,
new extended sensor motes, and more!

The conference will include a reception on Monday evening that will
feature Demonstrations, Posters, Videos and Exhibits during a 4-hour
special event. The conference will also feature an inspiring keynote, a
provocative panel and a collection of high quality papers and technical
notes (which have been announced previously).
