The University of Georgia Qualitative Inquiry Program and ResearchTalk, Inc. are co-sponsoring the following session:

"Teach, Choose and Use Qualitative Software"
Session Dates:  August 13 and 14, 2003
Session Times:  August 13: 9:00am - 4:30pm; August 14: 10:00am - 4:00pm
Session Site:   University of Georgia, Athens, GA - Aderhold Hall, College of Education,
                                Rooms 616 and 618

The session outlines methodological guidelines for teaching, using and choosing qualitative software.  Day 1 is run in seminar and small group format.  The day ends with focused small group discussions using ResearchTalk, Inc.'s "Qualitative Software Choice Map" to facilitate software choice for each individual participant.  Day 2 provides opportunities for participants to use their own data within the package of their choice in work session format.  Featured packages are: ATLAS.ti, ETHNOGRAPH, HyperResearch, and MAXqda.  Please note that Day 2 is open only to those who attend Day 1.
