medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
I am wondering if anyone could help me to find the sources of the following (I am sending 11 inquiries seperately).  They are in a late 14th century devotional discourse.

1] Following a reference to Gregory (Contra Faustum 22:27): meekness is the openest sign of salvation, while pride is that of damnation:
"Therefore saith St Jon with the gilden mouth: there shal neuere Goddis children and the deueles be cnowen but by mekness and by pride."
