What do they cover?
Enquiry Skills
A course to help you answer reference enquiries with the minimum of
fuss. We take you through handling the reference interview, to a
survey of Quick Reference sources, a look at subject guides and where
you go from there, with practical examples and exercises.

This module looks at relationships at work and how to handle them in a

Who should attend?
The courses are for people working in any kind of library. They provide
practical, task-based learning opportunities which will help participants
be more efficient, effective and enthusiastic at work. They will broaden
and enhance library assistants’ skills. The course materials provided
will allow review and reassessment of the learning over time in the
workplace.
