CALL FOR PANEL PARTICIPANTS Association of American Geographers Annual Meeting 14-19th March 2004, Philadelphia GEOGRAPHIES OF MUSLIM IDENTITIES Given the recent interest in Muslim identities in all areas of social science research, this panel session hopes to bring together both established academics and postgraduate researchers interested in the geographies of Muslim identities. Research may focus on any aspect of Muslim identities from a variety of international, national and/or local perspectives. Panel participants may be interested in how the geographies of Muslim identities intersect with gender, race, ethnicity, class, sexuality and so on (although these points are by no means exhaustive). If you would be interested in participating in this panel please send a short abstract (100 words) to the organizers by 19th September 2003.
