Co-Directors - Newcastle Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU), Centre for Health Services Research, School of Population and Health Sciences

Applications are invited for two newly created positions of Co-directors of the Newcastle Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU). The Faculty has committed itself to the development of this new initiative to further and achieve international excellence in its clinical trials activity across the Faculty of Medical Sciences. Successful candidates may come from any discipline necessary for the successful completion of trials, must have a substantial or emerging reputation in that discipline and/or in the delivery of successful multi-centre trials, a record of grant support, leadership qualities and the drive and enthusiasm to establish a successful Unit.

The level of appointment will be made according to the reputation and experience of applicants, and will be for five years in the first instance, with the possibility of renewal.
