Hello there, I'd be grateful if anyone has information about clemmening or clementing - a custom where children collected apples or oranges on St Clements Day late November. Partic if as rumour suggests this still occurs in some villages, with or without a bit of "anvil shooting" - he is the patron saint of smiths. Best wishes, Helen P.
