25th PUPIL COLLOQUIUM

The closing date for abstracts for the next Pupil Colloquium is August 1st.
Authors of abstracts which have not been accepted, or need to be modified,
will be contacted by 8th August.

Although this is a short timescale, it is highly unlikely that a sensible
abstract will not be accepted, and the timescale allows people to present
up-to-date work.

The only restrictions are that abstracts should be written in English, and
should fit onto A4 or letter size paper when printed in 12 point type.

Examples of abstracts from the last colloquium can be found at:

http://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/files/PUPIL/ca.htm

You will see that the format is not restrictive, but it does help if the
abstract is structured into sections:

Introduction
Method
Results
Discussion or Conclusions

I will edit abstracts for clarity where an author's first language is not
English, unless I receive instructions not to do so. As in the last few
colloquia, copies of all abstracts will be available at the meeting.

Finally, if you know of any other lists, or individuals, that would be
interested in these details, please pass them on.
