Weblogs - vanity publishing or a useful tool?
Speaker: Phil Bradley
Location: London
Date: 10 June 2003 (afternoon)
Fee: £145.00 + VAT (£170.38)
This half day course looks at the phenomenon of weblogs, or blogs as they
are often referred to, which have been around for some time but have only
recently started to enter 'mainstream' internet use.
The course will look at the history of weblogs, how they are created and
used, the ways in which the information profession can use them to best
advantage, how they can be searched, and the sorts of information that can
be gleaned from them.

Places are limited to ensure each delegate has their own PC for the
practical sessions on creating and searching weblogs.
