RESEARCH ASSOCIATE , School of Population & Health Sciences (Public Health
Research Group), starting salary up to stlg24,121

Based in the School of Population & Health Sciences (Public Health Research
Group) you will have experience in public health or health services research.
Your main tasks will be to conduct quantitative analysis of large data sets
including secondary analysis of a number of data sets derived from recently
conducted studies and to contribute to publication of results and the
development of funding proposals for future research.  Work will contribute to
a developing programme on developing causal understanding of social variations
in health.

Experience of statistical and epidemiological analysis and the ability to
manage large data sets is essential. Tenable for 12 months in the first
instance, this post provides an excellent opportunity to gain post-doc
