UNIVERSITY OF YORK - DEPARTMENT OF PSYCHOLOGY PROJECT MANAGER: Improving provision for disabled psychology students We are seeking a full-time Project Manager to work in the Department of Psychology at the University of York on a HEFCE-funded project entitled "Improving provision for disabled psychology students". The project will run for two years and involve close collaboration with Aston University and Middlesex University where staff will also be appointed. The aim of the project is to improve the provision for the study of psychology in Higher Education for disabled students. The project will provide information for departments and for potential and current students to assist departments in making effective changes to teaching and learning provision for disabled students, and to assist disabled students in decision-making concerning the study of psychology. The project will build upon existing work but focus on the particular requirements for the study of psychology, including practical and project work, discipline-specific use of technology and ethical issues. The post is available immediately. Salary will be within the range £18,265 - £23,296 per annum.
