Survey of staff involved in developing e-Learning materials:

The Universities of Sheffield and Dundee are collaborating on a project to
develop an educational resource that will be made available to anyone in
Higher Education who produces multimedia e-Learning materials for learning
and teaching (including web based learning materials) with the aim of
helping them make their materials accessible to disabled students.

The project, named 'Skills for Access', is very keen to obtain the views of
potential users at these, the early stages of the project. For this purpose
the project
team has devised an online survey consisting of a number of short questions
(20+)
with multiple choice answers. The results of the survey will inform the
design of the end product
which should be of value to all those who are involved in the design and
development of
e-Learning materials.

Once compiled the results of the survey will be made available on the
project
website http://www.shef.ac.uk/sfa which is currently being developed.

If you would like to take part in the survey please visit the
following URL http://pico.dyn.computing.dundee.ac.uk/playerbranch/
To access the survey you will need to enter the following code N8G6K

As an incentive we will be selecting one person to receive a book token
worth 50 pounds.

We in the project team will be very grateful for your help in shaping this
important project.

With thanks,
Sarahs Stone - Project Coordinator
