OK, then! I been to Waitrose by way of a brisk walk to Boots in the mean time and am now more or less alert. I will just say that I have found that a lot of students have got to the deductive via the inductive and that's why I often suggest it. I agree with your view of Cambridge Spies, by the way: strong on homosexuality and short on just about everything else. If this is a reasonable portrayal of those four men then heaven help us. It looked good though in terms of the setting and so on. I have to confess that I was forced to watch it in order to keep Mrs W company as young Master W was not at home! All I need now is a decent film to watch this evening but, having scanned the listings, I have found the sum total of zero! Duncan Williamson
