JISC RSC Scotland South & West Creating electronic self-assessments 7 May 2003 (pm) £30 The increasing use of on-line delivery of teaching materials for learners brings with it the need to consider the tools for on-line assessment, and their uses. Software or web sites used to create assessment activities can be simple to use - often the time it takes to prepare a quiz is down to the content. This is a ½ -day workshop for teaching practitioners that will introduce them to freely available tools to create electronic quizzes and assessment exercises. If possible, participants should bring an existing resource to work with at the workshop.
