Created with psychologists, behavioural, health & social researchers
in mind, this is a course for those with a basic knowledge of
statistics.
Particularly suited to postgraduates and researchers who wish to
improve their competence and confidence in analysing data for surveys
and experiments.
In computer sessions you will be running analyses on SPSS for Windows,
whilst the workshops will cover concepts and interpretation. You will
be encouraged to bring your own data for discussion or analysis.
The course covers:
SPSS for Windows
ANOVA
Simple regression
Multiple regression
Sample size determination
Introduction to logistic regression
Graphs and tables
Taught by:
David Boniface (statistician, health researcher and author)
Michaela Cottee (statistician and graduate psychologist)
Neil Spencer (social statistician)
