Well said Vicky. Personally I think "Shock and Awe" is a polite word for terrorism. If you want to see the results try:
http://www.thememoryhole.org/war/gulfwar2/ (the pictures are disturbing, that is the reality of this war). You might also want to take a look at what is happening in Palestine and remember that Ariel Sharon was a member of Haganah.
The legality of this war is dubious. There is only one State in the Middle East that definitely does have weapons of Mass Destruction and consistently ignores UN resolutions and we are not bombing them. US and UK companies are already being given the contracts to rebuild the damage done to Iraq by US and British bombs, payment by oil that the US and UK needs for it's economy, disguised as a humanitarian program. It doesn't therefore surprise me that most of the world is sceptical and angry, Flag burning seems a fairly mundane occupation in comparison. Sorry Pat but that one really pissed me off.

Protesting against the war in Iraq doesn't make you a terrorist. There were a million of us in London on 15th February. Mostly, we weren't terrorists. Burning flags doesn't make us one either.
