The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) just announced the start of
competition for scholarships and fellowships for undergraduate and
graduate study beginning fall 2003. The areas of study for these
programs include: physical, biological, social, and behavioral
sciences, engineering, mathematics, and computer science. The stipend
level for graduate students is $2300/month for 12 months and includes
tuition allowances.
Deadline for submitting a written notification of intent is
April 30, 2003.
Applications and references must be postmarked by May 27, 2003.

strongly urged to apply immediately. More information about the DHS
