medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

I believe that the spider actually spun a web over the entrance to the cave
where "the Bruce" was hiding from the English. It protected him because the
English believed that no one could be in the cave without having disturbed
the spider web.

So this is a case where the spider quickly worked to help save " the Bruce"
, perhaps pointing to the true legacy of " the Bruce royal line????

Regards Carol
