If nothing else, it is interesting to compare the differences between the IMS and LOM bindings for the fairly simple example I use in the document. As a result of using the LOM binding, I've updated the names of some of the elements that I use elsewhere in the document (e.g. 'otherplatformrequirements' -> 'otherPlatformRequirements'). At this stage, I'm assuming that both the LOM binding and the qualified DC binding will become the recommended bindings for use within RDN/LTSN partnerships. However, the current URL for the LOM XML schema work (above) doesn't exactly inspire confidence about the stability of this work? Would anyone care to comment on how stable the IEEE LOM bindings are currently?
