With public sector organisations facing the challenge of meeting the statutory requirements of the Freedom of Information Act, which came into force in November 2000, it is important that those involved understand the Act and the requirements it makes of their organisations.  This workshop will highlight the key issues of the Act and give plenty of opportunities to ask questions of the speakers.  Delegates will work on selected issues in small groups.
