 Information and Education Officer

 3-year pensionable appointment based in West Berkshire*

Salary: up to £22,000 p.a.

This is a new post, designed to develop existing and new areas of Flora locale’s agenda for promoting best practice in the use and supply of native flora. Note: this post does not involve practical land management work.

Qualifications: Excellent communicator, with a sound knowledge of British native flora and plant communities and project management expertise. You must be able to write, coordinate the production of information and educational materials and present Flora locale’s agenda to professional audiences. Some previous experience in land management, horticulture and ecological restoration are desirable. IT skills essential. Job share considered if two suitable candidates are found.

Some limited clerical support will be available.
