Could anybody point me to general introductions/ discussions in form of articles, chapters or books to the following
topics? (1) The Earthly Paradise and Garden theme in the later Middle Ages. (2) Clerical hierarchy and monastic orders

In 14^th and 15^th century England. This is intended for 1^st year undergraduates and shouldn’t be to complicated. Would
