Dear list members,

I am co-teaching a course this term on inter-disciplinary disability
studies, which includes a short unit on disability and Native people.
There's tons of work available on levels of impairment and Native
people, or on problems with access to health care, etc., but not much
around on social model or other critical approaches to Native people and
disability.

The course is in Canada but we make an effort to present a range of
texts: I would be happy to use sources from Australia or New Zealand,
for example. I am especially interested in articles (or films) that
take on or problematize issues of identity, law or citizenship. Any
suggestions welcome.
Thanks,
Kate
