Dear Zooarchers, Does anyone know how to contact Michael Ryder. Kate Hunter at Newport Museum has 1000 metres of timber with caulking from the Newport Ship which contains a fibre. Under SEM this looks like very fine wool possibly Merino. BBC timewatch making a program on this are willing to pay for species identification, Kate feels Micheal would be the best chap but does not know how to contact him.
