Hi
everyone
A very quick query
about aurochs breeding/reproduction. I'm helping to put together factfiles
on various extinct species for the BBC Nature website, http://www.bbc.co.uk/nature/
in anticipation of a series that will go out in early
summer.
There is a
"compulsory" entry I have to make on each entitled "reproduction" (the site
wasn't designed with extinct animals in mind). This is somewhat
challenging for some species, but as the aurochs didn't become extinct until the
17th century, can anyone point me at any observations recorded about its
courtship, breeding, etc?
Thanks
Amanda
