Can anyone help Newark & Sherwood college with this project??

Newark & Sherwood College has identified in its development plan a commitment to have a fully unitised curriculum by September 2003. 

The information systems in the College are in the process of being migrated to Microcompass and the student records component (QLS) will be live from August 2003.

The College now invites tenders to undertake a project of unitising the curriculum and ensuring that it is built appropriately within Microcompass QLS

Curriculum Unitisation Requirements

The College requires the project to provide a curriculum framework by September 2003.  It will need to take account of the following:

*       Unitisation to be based on 30 notional guided learning hours
*       Identify and use as far as practicable the available bank of Open College Network (OCN) units 
*       Devising local units to an OCN template where current OCN units do not exist
*       All full-time provision to be unitised
*       Tagging of units to meet requirements of Microcompass
*       Input to Microcompass

Vendors are invited to supply proposals for delivering this project, which must provide the following:

A staffing resource to work alongside College tutors that have the following attributes:

*       experience of delivering to awarding body specifications
*       competent IT users
*       operating experience of Microcompass (QLS)

Analysis of Tenders completed by Thursday 24 April 2003 
Tender Shortlist to be announced by Friday 25 April 2003
Presentations to take place by Friday 2 May 2003 
Best and final offers to be submitted by Friday 9 May 2003  
Awarding of Contract to successful bidder by Monday 12 May 2003
