Please find attached the 'Open Letter' which the Steering Committee acting on behalf of creditors of RoweCom has just issued to update both libraries and publishers about the current situation, and to give both groups an indication of the course of action which we recommend. We feel it is extremely important that both communities are made aware of this as soon as possible, and your help in passing this on to your members/readers would be very much appreciated

A (continually growing) list of those publishers who have agreed to extend their customary grace period for RoweCom subscribers (most of whom will probably agree to supply the whole year's subscriptions if the proposed solution goes ahead) can be found under 'Files at groups.yahoo.com/group/rowecomcreditors/ - you have to sign up to the list first to gain access.
