State of the Nations: Lifelong Learning in Four Countries
NIACE Annual Spring Conference
10/11 April 2003, The Village, Coryton, Cardiff CF14

This conference will consider the challenges, issues and approaches to
Adult Education from across the UK through a range of presentations,
discussions and witness sessions.

In a multicultural society the delivery of adult education needs to respond
to the community and culture of the learners. This is an opportunity to
learn what are the main adult learning developments and trends in the UK.
The event will also provide many opportunities to hear about practice
across the UK.

The aims of the conference are to:
· enhance collaboration and partnerships across the UK between adult
learning practitioners and organisations
· help delegates develop an understanding of adult learning across
the UK
· raise awareness of good practice.
This event will be of interest to all those supporting and promoting adult
learning in the UK. In particular, practitioners working within adult and
community learning.
