Subject: SARS: The killer cold

Info on our second rapid response sciBAr below.

It's reached the UK...You can catch it like a cold...Should we be
worried?

Since the end of February the media has been full of stories about
Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). So far, over 3000 people
around the world have been infected with the so-called 'super spreader'
virus which is a close cousin of the humble cold.

Join Professor John Oxford of the Royal London Hospital and Professor
Roy Anderson of Imperial College London to discuss the disease and its
spread through the world and the media.

Organised by the BA, sciBAr is open to anyone, there are no invitations
and the evening is free except for what you spend on drink or food. Air
your views or just listen to others, it's your regular pub debate just
on a larger scale.
