In "Projective Verse" Charles Olson quotes Robert Creeley's remark that
"Form is never more than an extension of content." Creeley liked, as an
implicit definition of form, a Blakean aphorism "Fire delights in its form."
His central statement of open poetics, involving "a content which cannot be
anticipated," is "I'm Given to Write Poems"
