I'm giving a reading at the District Fine Arts Gallery, 1726 Wisconsin Avenue NW, (202) 328-9100, at 7:30 PM, Saturday, December 20. Starting the 12th, the gallery will be showing new works by Jim Mahoney, a friend of mine and a great artist. He works in collage on board; his new series centers on the Battle of the Wilderness, 1864. He'll be introducing me. Whoever's in Washington over the holidays, I'd love to see you. Best - Fred.
