MPhil/PhD Research Opportunities within the Health and Social Care Modelling Group Department of Mathematics Cavendish School of Computer Science UNIVERSITY OF WESTMINSTER The Health and Social Care Modelling Group (HSCMG), based in the Department of Mathematics is looking for qualified individuals to undertake research towards a PhD in the area of Health Care Modelling and Informatics, incl. Operational Research and Statistics. Although we welcome any application in the area of Health Care Modelling and Informatics (incl. simulation, data mining etc.), we are particularly interested in the following topics - Queuing network models for healthcare systems - Novel bed occupancy and survival modelling techniques A good honours degree (minimum 2.i) or foreign equivalent (with preferably a Masters degree) in Operational Research, Statistics, and/or other relevant areas of Mathematical Sciences and Informatics are expected.
