Lynda, Have you tried speaking to the Data Protection Agency office (I think it's in Wales) for advice as records come under their auspices (and that's a long word for this time of night). I have previously been told on a number of occasions that medical records go to EMAS for 'safekeeping in the event of a company closing and no-one takes over the OH service - they may be worth a call as well if you haven't tried them.
