We are offering 3 Research Studentships to undertake work leading to an MPhil/PhD Degree in the areas of Fine Art and The Built Environment. The projects available are: 1. Art & Architecture: contemporary practice at the interface between disciplines An analysis and exploration of the values, methods and ideologies shared between art and architecture, with a particular emphasis on processes and procedures in practice and education. Landscape Perception An exploration of models for understanding spatial structure in the landscape in terms of human experience.
