Two  postdoctoral positions in theoretical/computational quantum chemical reaction dynamics are available in the group of Prof. Evelyn Goldfield at Wayne State University.

One position focuses on  the  quantum dynamics of chemical systems with four or more atoms and involves both methods development and applications. The computational aspect of the research includes harnessing the power of parallel and grid computers for quantum reaction dynamics.

The other position focuses on developing methods to study chemical reactions of systems confined within nanoscale environments such as nanotubes.

Candidates should be highly motivated and have a strong background in chemical physics, dynamics, and computer programming. Experience with high performance computing is desirable.

More information on our research program can be gotten from  www.chem.wayne.edu/~evi.

The initial appointmen will be for one year.To apply, please send a letter of interest, three letters of recommendation, CV,
and publication list  to
