Call for Papers

Feature Issue of The Journal of Mathematical Modelling and Algorithms
(JMMA) on:

"Meta-heuristics"

Guest Editors: Ibrahim H. Osman and Khalil Hindi.
A feature issue of JMMA will be aimed at all aspects of meta-heuristics
research. Original, high quality papers are sought from across the range
of theoretical and applied meta-heuristics issues.

This feature issue is devoted to selected papers presented at the
Meta-heuristics cluster of the Joint International Meeting of European
Operational Research Conference (EURO 2003) and the Institute for
Operations and the Management Sciences (INFORMS) held in Istanbul July
06-10, 2003. Submission of papers to the issue is NOT restricted,
however, to the cluster attendees and papers are sought from across the
meta-heuristics research community.

The articles submitted will be peer-reviewed to the usual standards of
JMMA . However, an accelerated review process has been set up and it is
envisaged that accepted papers will be of full-length, unpublished,
completed original work, and high standards.

Manuscripts should be submitted electronically by email to either guest
editors in a LaTeX version, accompanied by a pdf file, or a Word
version. A LaTeX style file can be obtained from the publishers,
downloadable from http://www.wkap.nl/kaphtml.htm/STYLEFILES. All
submissions should include a title page containing title, contact
author, author(s) names and affiliations, regular postal addresses, and
e-mail addresses. Instructions to authors and rules for submission are
found on the journal's website
http://www.kluweronline.com/issn/1570-1166

Deadline for submission: September 30th 2003.
Acceptance decision: December 2003.
Final version submission: January 2004.
