Hi - Casson's map of 1801 and an un-identified map of 1804 both show a waggonway from Eden Main and also one from Primrose Moor, both in the Fence Houses area of Tyne & Wear, with both waggonways leading to the river Wear at Penshaw. Can any list member throw any light on the Eden Main or Primrose Moor pits? Alan Vickers.
