Please pass this advert on to any potential applicants (apologies for cross posting) South East Film & Video Archive University of Brighton Project Officer 22.25 hours per week for 43 weeks up to £21,125 pro rata In this interesting role, funded by the British Library and led by the South East Film and Video Archive, you will research, design, produce and distribute a DVD using film and audio material related to the South East of England in the 20thC. As well as selecting and preparing all the film and sound assets for the DVD, you will write the accompanying text and, as a by-product of this work, you will prepare an accompanying website. You should have relevant experience in either public sector archives and museums or multimedia heritage projects. Workspace will be made available at SEFVA and the British Library Sound Archive. The post is for a fixed-term period between June 2003 and March 2004 in accordance with the period of funding.
